Sadia lectures frequently about her experiences growing up with a Muslim mother, Christian father and Jewish grandmother and her search to reconnect with the Bene Israel community of Western India. This journey is the subject of her memoir The Girl From Foreign and her documentary film In Search of The Bene Israel.
